Answers to questions received about this property and some additional comments/updates from the owner:
Septic was last used about 2.5 years ago.It was last pumped out about 4 years ago. Both Well and Septic were working well when last used.
The contractor renovated the entire cabin floor infrastructure replacing joists and making the main floor one level. He also replaced outside foundation board at the front of the house with concrete board to prevent further deterioration. Collar ties were added to the main floor rafters to keep the roof from spreading.
Heating and AC for the house came from the single thru the wall unit. A brand new replacement unit is there and was to be installed when renovations were completed. No ducting or central HVAC.
The original cabin was expanded numerous times by the previous owners by building and then enclosing a porch. The back area was originally a porch and then enclosed with a doorway. With the renovations it was designed to be a bedroom so the door was remove.
The septic is right outside the side door (by the half moon window). The cement cap is literally the stoop. The bathroom bathtub, toilet, sink and kitchen sink ran into the septic tank. The field lines are under the gravel area around the side door entrance.
